Explore the fascinating world of the Sun with our Sun Observation Workshop, designed for elementary, middle and high school students. The Sun is the source of energy and life for our planet, and with this workshop you will have the opportunity to get to know it up close and study it in detail.
We will use a safe solar projector that will allow us to observe the surface of the star without any risk.
In addition, we will bring two high-quality telescopes with special filters. One of them is one of the largest solar telescopes in Spain!
With these devices, we will be able to admire both the amazing solar surface with its sunspots and the atmosphere, where spectacular phenomena such as bulges, explosions larger than our own planet, take place.
We will not only observe the Sun, but we will also carry out experiments with light and solar energy to discover its fascinating properties. We will delve into the knowledge of the Sun as a star and its life, as well as its influence on Earth and the phenomenon known as Spaceweather.
We will also talk about solar activity and how it affects the climate of our planet.
If you’re in higher grades, we’ll go even deeper into these topics, and you’ll even be able to explore them further in a research paper (TOR).
Come and discover the Sun in a safe and exciting way with our Sun Observation Workshop. It is a unique opportunity to get to know this incredible star that provides us with warmth and life every day!
